GAHS EVENTS

Interschool Competition:

Glen Austin High School attended their third interschool event that took place on Friday 10 Feb. The learners were very excited to compete at this level with some of the best schools in Midrand. The participants warmed up as a team as they got ready for the day ahead. It would be an understatement to say that this was our best year yet. We received 9 medals (2 Gold, 2 Silver and 5 bronze) at this year’s event. The highlight of the day was witnessing 3 learners win events in the best position with the fastest time to advance on to the district 9 competitions that will take place later this month. The learners that will represent the school at a district level are Tebogo Makgoala, Lethabo Seotloe, and Thabo Mohlaabane.
