ACHIEVEMENTS
Mr Potgieter has extensive experience in the sport industry as well as working with learners. He started participating in sports when he was 6 years old and then went on to play rugby, cricket, athletics and water polo at school level and then later on rugby at provincial level, even participating in the Craven week as well as receiving provincial colors for athletics and going on to the South African Championships for the 200 meter and 400 meter sprint. Mr Potgieter received his provincial colors for rugby at the under 19 level for rugby after school while he was attending the university of Pretoria as well as attaining: * Lifesaving qualification. * Level 1 and 2 coaching qualification in rugby * Becoming a level 1 swimming coach and a level 1 swimming official. Mr Potgieter has had the privilege of being able to be the youngest provincial rugby coach in the past 40 years at the Blue Bulls Rugby Union while he was coaching the under 16 and the under 18 rugby teams. While he was at university he was very active in the tutoring of high school learners in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Human anatomy and physiology and Life sciences. |
